The virtual discussion will focus on cumulative impacts, environmental and climate justice, and health equity. During this meeting, we will present the scientific, public health, and community perspective on the environmental injustices and related health inequities on both sides of the Kansas City stateline. We will also discuss the proposed solutions that we are developing and seeking, and the actions we are currently taking to achieve environmental justice.

A joint report CleanAirNow & Union of Concerned Scientists, Environmental Racism in the Heartland: Fighting for Equity and Health in Kansas City, will be released on this day, and we are happy to provide you with an advanced copy upon request.
